Sort Order Explained
When you choose By Number, the tool extracts the first run of digits from each filename. For example: scan-1.jpg → 1, page_02.png → 2, doc3.webp → 3. Files with no number are placed at the end. This is ideal for scanned documents where pages are named 001.jpg, 002.jpg, etc.
A → Z and Z → A sort by the full filename alphabetically. Manual lets you drag the thumbnail cards into any order you prefer.
Common Use Cases

Photo portfolios — Combine product or portfolio photos into a single PDF file for email or upload. Form submissions — Merge multiple receipt or form photos for expense reports, insurance claims, or visa applications. Batch conversion — Convert a folder of images to a single PDF for archiving or sharing.
